DERP DOODLES
I was a lapsed Studio Art Minor, but then there was a global pandemic and I had to find new ways to entertain myself through the lock downs and social distancing. Now I sketch and paint my friends pets.

PROCESS
I like to start with a quick and dirty pencil sketch—something that captures the personality of the pet. Then I grab my watercolors and go a little abstract with the color choices. (Obviously, if I were going for realism, I’d pick up a camera, y’know?)
