The Art of Protest
I was raised in the San Francisco Bay Area by a big ol' hippie who loved a good protest. Political action, speaking out and standing up for what you believe in are very important to me. I started making hand written protest signs when I was a kid, and have since graduated to a digital medium. These are some things that I've made, that ended up in marches and rallies across the country. (Needless to say, my mom was super proud of me.)
March for Science, Atlanta 2018
In March of 2018, I was approached by the organizers of the March for Science, Atlanta, and asked to create an event poster for them–one that clearly listed out the event's details, but could also double as a protest sign for those who didn't have one of their own. This was the result.
For more information about how you can help fund this organization's efforts to promote science based public policy, or to find a rally near you, visit the March for Science website.
Women's March 2018 Buttons
I designed a handful of buttons for the 2018 Women's March in Chicago. If you like what you see, feel free to download this high-res PDF and have them made for yourself, your friends, your girl gang, or your favorite boss bitch.
